Industry Meeting
There will be a Regional Tourism Forum meeting (formerly known as Quarterly Sector Meetings) on 7 July 2011 to update HBWCTA members and the wider industry on progress with the RTO Joint venture, brand refresh and other plans as well as to provide an opportunity for information updates from the various sectors within tourism. An invitation will be sent out in due course.
One of HBWCTA's key roles is to ensure that information flow between the industry and sector representation on the Board of Management is active. We encourage the industry to participate in these industry meetings. Meetings are generally held in March, June and November/December. The 3rd quarter (September) meeting is replaced by the annual Regional Tourism Conference and Annual General Meeting.

Industry Famil Tours
We think the more we all know about what's on offer in our region the better, so why not keep yourself in the know by coming along on one of our regional discovery tours. We aim to run 2 or 3 tours per year. Next Famil tbc in July/August 2011.
Annually:
HB Wine Country Annual Regional Tourism Conference 2011 (TBC)
The annual conference aims to bring HBWCTA members along with any other tourism operators and people with an interest in the tourism sector together with industry experts to inform, enlighten and educate about national and international best practice and current trends and initiatives. This is a signature event for Hawke’s Bay Wine Country.
The conferences are full of opportunity and facilitate:
- hearing industry experts share topical information and news
- meeting new and familiar faces
- great learning and much talking
- an evening of fun and laughter
Cancellation and Refund Policy
* Cancellations and refunds for paid events: Because we have to book and pay for catering for all those who RSVP, any cancellation and/or changes must be made in writing (email is fine) no less than two working days prior to the event in order to receive a full refund/credit. No refund or credit will be given for cancellations made after this time or for non-attendance at the event. Invoices will be raised at the time you RSVP. As a not-for-profit organisation it is important that we can cover the costs incurred for each event we run.
